City of Montreal (2023)
Biodiversité conseil conducted an ecological audit in the former Francon Quarry (also known as Saint-Michel Quarry), on behalf of the City of Montreal. The surveys included the delimitation of wetlands and inventories of the flora, avifauna, amphibians, reptiles, bats, and ichthyofauna of the quarry. Recommendations were formulated to harmonize the future uses of the site with the maintenance of local biodiversity.
